Bridging Franco-American Differences in the Workplace

Mind the Gap – Bridging Franco-American Differences in the Workplace

Despite the long-standing friendship between their respective countries, the French and Americans continue to be baffled by each other in the workplace. From diverse communication practices and trust-building styles to different approaches towards leadership, decision-making and meeting protocols, the challenges they often face are rooted in cultural influences.

Please join us for an insightful interactive presentation and panel that will highlight some of the nuances inherent within the two cultures that frequently cause misunderstanding in the workplace. From enhancing awareness of the key cultural differences to exploring obstacles that impede productivity and performance, FACC members and guests will take away some new tactics they can apply to improve their communication and working relationships across cultures.
