Sixty distinguished guests gathered at the Residence of the Ambassador of France for a festive and elegant evening. The Pete Muldoon jazz trio welcomed guests with the lilting melodies of famous jazz artists. Following the cocktail reception, His Excellency, Francois Delattre, welcomed guests to the French Residence, emphasizing that French-American relations have never been closer, and that the Euro zone merits American confidence and support as European leaders work to remodel the common market to meet pressing challenges and the expectations of worldwide financial markets. Marc Bouvier, Director of the FACC Board and Carla de Chassy, Executive Director of the FACC - Washington, DC thanked the Ambassador for his magnanimous hosting of the event and presented him with gifts. The menu was as pleasing to the eye as to the palette, a delicate bouquet of enticing textures, colors and flavors.
