PRESENTATION OF THE FACC

The French-American relationship is one of the world's longest living alliances!

Since its founding in 1896, the French-American Chamber of Commerce (FACC) has been promoting and developing sound economic, commercial and financial relations between the United States and France.

The French-American Chamber of Commerce (FACC) includes 19 chapters and 4 affiliated chapters, covering major metropolitan areas coast-to-coast.

Created in 1979, the Washington DC Chapter of the FACC is solely funded through memberships, sponsorships and proceeds from events. The Chapter is dedicated to supporting companies and organizations with bilateral business needs and interests.

With a view to stimulating new forms of cross-Atlantic cooperation in the Washington DC region, the Washington DC Chapter was relaunched on February 5, 2009 with new and improved programming to better serve the needs of the French-American business community.

During his hospitalization, Mr. Bellanger asked FACC Vice President Stephen L. Dreyfuss to serve as acting President in his absence.
