The discounted rates are only available to the hotel’s Best Available Rate offered online or directly through the hotel’s central reservations department.
Guest room rates are subject to the prevailing local tax of 14.5% daily. Rates are not applicable with any third parties to include Expedia, Hotels.com, Travelocity, Booking.com, Hotwire, etc.
Preferred rates are applicable to single or double occupancy and will be confirmed based on the specific room type inventory available at the time a reservation is made. If a superior (standard), deluxe room type, or suites are not available at the time of booking, the preferred rates agreed upon are not available.
LAST ROOM AVAILABILITY (LRA)
The rates indicated above are subject to Last Room Availability which is based upon the agreed upon room types only (superior, deluxe and suites). Should the preferred rate in the superior guestroom not be available, the preferred rate for deluxe category rooms will be extended. Should the preferred rate in the deluxe guestroom not be available, the preferred rate for suite category rooms will be extended.

Room assignments will be made directly with The Fairfax at Embassy Row by calling the hotel’s central reservation department at 1-888-627-8439. They must request the name French American Chamber of Commerce (FACC) or your designated Account ID: SETFACC

Guests should enter the arrival/departure dates located within the "Reserve" calendar. Once the dates are entered, the next screen will appear "Available Rooms". Guests need to look at the left side of the webpage and go under the "For Corporate Account Holders" section. Enter the “SET/Corporate Account#”: 242969
Once the Account Code is entered and the individual clicks the “Search” icon, the next screen will appear "Available Rooms". The individual needs to confirm their room preference based upon the agreed upon room types at your agreed upon rate. The individual may click on the available room type based upon your agreement. Then, the individual can proceed to confirm their reservation with the guarantee of a major credit card.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES:
Check-in-time is 3:00 PM; however in our continuing effort to provide a pleasant stay, guests will be able to check in as early as their reserved room-type become available. Check-out time is 12:00 PM; however, we will make every effort to accommodate late check-out requests for your travelers.
The above rate is valid for FACC individual business travelers as well as for individuals visiting FACC member companies. We are also pleased to extend this rate to FACC member employees for their leisure travel. Should you require a group room block (15 rooms or more) for your meetings, we will be happy to separately negotiate the best rate available through our Group Sales Department.FOR SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS AND/OR VIP SERVICES:
Requests for specific rooms, suites or bed types will be accommodated whenever possible. If you have a VIP traveler staying at our hotel, please inform your designated sales manager to arrange any special services during their stay. We consider it part of our standard of service to arrange for any necessities your valued associates or VIPs may require while in Washington DC.
GUARANTEE OF RESERVATIONS:
Reservations can be guaranteed for late arrival with a credit card or deposit. In the event that a reservation is guaranteed for late arrival and the guest “no shows”, the appropriate room and tax charges will be charged against the form of payment used to guarantee the room for late arrival. Reservations can be cancelled without penalty more than 24-hours prior to the date of arrival. A cancellation number should be obtained from the central reservations agent for reference. Cancellations may be made by calling the hotel’s central reservation department at 1-888-627-8439 or via online at www.starwood.com.
All guestroom charges including room and tax and/or incidentals will be the responsibility of the individual traveler. If a traveler does not have a credit card, a cash deposit will be required upon check in at the front desk. If charges are to be direct billed, prior credit arrangements and notification to our reservations office is required. In addition to a completed credit application, we require a letter of authorization on your company letterhead. This information must be updated annually. All direct billing authorized by your company is guaranteed for payment and payment is due upon receipt of invoice, but no later than ten days after The Fairfax at Embassy Row billing date.
NO WALK POLICY:
It is the intention of The Fairfax at Embassy Row to never walk one of our preferred customers with a guaranteed reservation. However, in the event that a guest must be walked, we will secure accommodations at a comparable property, cover the room/tax charges for the night walked, transport the guest to the comparable property, pay for a phone call home and transport the guest back to The Fairfax at Embassy Row for the remainder of his/her stay. We are confident this policy will ensure the complete satisfaction of all our preferred guests and prove our intention of not inconveniencing our most valued customers.
