The Office for Science and Technology of the Embassy of France in the United States, in partnership with the French-American Chamber of Commerce, is organizing a networking reception at the Embassy of France for the laureates of the 2017 edition of the Netva program in Washington, DC. Please join us and meet five French innovative high-tech startups, our 2017 Netva laureates, on October 23, 2017 at 6:00 pm.
Netva is a mentoring program for innovative French startups wishing to discover the North-American high-tech market. It is run by the Office for Science and Technology of the Embassy of France in four locations: Boston, San Francisco, Washington, DC and Toronto. This year, 20 French startups have been selected through a national competition by juries in France and in the US.
The program started with a three-day training seminar in France, which took place in June 2017, and is followed by an immersion week in one of the four Netva centers in October 2017. Prior to this intense entrepreneurship week, each laureate is paired with one or more local mentors. During the week, laureates have the opportunity to network with high-level American academic and technological partners, and benefit from a series of training workshops focusing on how to approach and succeed in the North-American market.
